Description
A straight-cut shirt with a "stanok" (to the waist) silhouette, sewn from two panels. The sleeve is straight with a gusset and a cuff, attached with stitching; the bottom is decorated with "puhlyky," gathered on a thread 1.5 cm from the edge to form a cuff-like effect.
The sleeve and cuff on the back side are sewn with a double "vystih" stitch. The body and cuffs are gathered at the neckline with fine pleats using the "vshyvannya do komira" technique. The "carre" neckline, with a central front slit (27.5 cm long), is finished with a narrow hem featuring a triple "vystih" stitch and two loop stitches on either side of the hem. The central front slit is hemmed to the front side with a single "vystih" stitch.
The shirt is decorated with a black-and-red plant ornament. Along the neckline hem, there is a red "cross stitch retyazok" while the bottom of the sleeve features a black-and-red "retyazok" (1x1). The cuff is adorned with an ornament embroidered along the seam lines to the sleeve and back, consisting of three bands: a garland of roses (1.3 cm wide), above which is a strip of stylized flowers (0.5 cm wide), followed by seven individually embroidered roses with branches and leaves.
The upper part of the sleeve is decorated with a horizontal ornament: roses with branches, leaves, and buds, framed above and below by strips of stylized flowers with branches and leaves. On the sleeve, six-petaled flowers with branches and leaves are arranged in a checkerboard pattern.
