Description
Straight silhouette. The sleeve is one-piece, sewn along the warp, straight with a gusset, gathered at the bottom on a cuff. The body and upper sleeve are densely gathered near the neckline. The neckline is oval with a central slit, finished with a narrow hem. The hem has two loop buttonholes for a ribbon. The cuffs are decorated with 'pukhlyky.' The shirt is embroidered with red and gray woolen threads in floral and geometric patterns using the 'cross-stitch' technique. The shoulder area has a narrow horizontal pattern stripe of a broken line with stylized cornflowers and leaves attached at the bends. The sleeve field features scattered bouquets of small round flowers. The neckline is decorated with a row of 'cross-stitches,' and the cuffs have a zigzag line of 'cross-stitches' and teeth made of 'loop buttonholes.' The hem is decorated with openwork stitching with laid thread. Above it is a fragment of a garland of stylized eight-petal flowers with elongated leaves. At the bottom, the connecting seams of the lower part are decorated with a narrow vertical floral pattern stripe (9 cm long) made with the 'cross-stitch' technique.
