Description
'Do pidtochky' shirt made of bleached hemp canvas, sewn from six parts. Straight silhouette. The sleeve is one-piece, sewn along the warp, straight with a gusset, gathered at the bottom, and finished with a hem. The body and upper sleeve edges are densely gathered near the neckline. The neckline is oval with a central slit, finished with a narrow hem. The hem has two slit buttonholes for a ribbon. The shirt is embroidered with red and black woolen threads in a floral pattern using the 'cross-stitch' technique. The shoulder area has a narrow horizontal pattern stripe of a straight line (stem) with small stylized flowers and leaves attached on both sides. The floral pattern is framed on all four sides by two rows of 'cross-stitches.' Below, the sleeve field features scattered five-petal flowers with leaves and swirls. The hem is decorated with a geometric pattern of a broken line with extensions, made with the 'cutting' technique using bleached hemp threads. At the bottom near the connecting seams of the lower part, there is a thin vertical stripe of stylized floral pattern (8 cm high), made with the 'cross-stitch' technique in red and black woolen threads.
