Description
Straight-cut 'do pidtochky' shirt, body and lower part sewn from two panels each, laid across. The sleeve is three-quarter length, tapered at the bottom, even at the end, with an insert sewn along the weft. The sleeve and insert on the back side are sewn with a double 'vystih' stitch. The body and inserts are gathered near the neckline into fine pleats using the 'sewing to the collar' technique. The neckline is 'kare' (square) with a central front slit (25 cm long), finished with a narrow hem with a double 'vystih' stitch, a loop buttonhole on the right, and a transparent plastic button on the left. The shirt is decorated with black and red geometric and floral embroidery. The insert and upper sleeve feature horizontal stripes of identical patterns with connected branches, berries, and leaves. The sleeve hem has swirls embroidered with 'shtapivka.' The neckline hem has a single-color border of 'double cross-stitches' in a broken line (red threads). A red chain stitch of 'cross-stitch' is laid around the armhole.
