Description
Rushnyk made of bleached fabric, embroidered with green, blue, yellow, lilac, pink, and brown threads. The ornament is floral and ornithomorphic. The composition is tiered, featuring two doves on a branch with a flower, below which are three large flowers. The edges are decorated with lace featuring a rhombus ornament and a scalloped edge.
Legend: Belonged to Pocherinina-Holoperova Anastasia Hnativna, grandmother of Holoperova Valentyna Ivanivna. Pocherinina-Holoperova Anastasia Hnativna was born on April 14, 1893, in Tarasivka village, lived in Polyane village, Trostyanets district (formerly Velyka Pysarivka district), Sumy region, and died in 1961.
