Rushnyk made of factory linen canvas, decorated at the edges with stylized embroidery: a small pedestal with a wreath of six roses with leaves, and one rose with leaves at the base on both sides. The embroidery is done in the 'artistic satin stitch' technique with cherry, light green, and cream-colored threads.
**Provenance:** According to inventory book No. 18 of the III group and inventory book TK-2, the rushnyk belonged to academician Mykola Fedorovych Sumtsov, gifted to him by orphan girls of the Pushkin School (Kharkiv), where Sumtsov was a trustee in 1910. Transferred to the museum's collection by Maria Mykolaivna Bisher-Sumtsova, Sumtsov's daughter.
