Description
Shirt 'to the hem' made of bleached hemp canvas (bodice from fine canvas, hem from coarse canvas). The sleeve is one-piece, sewn along the warp, straight, with a gusset, gathered at the bottom, on a cuff. The bodice and upper part of the sleeves are gathered near the neckline. The neckline is oval, with a central slit, finished with a narrow cuff. The cuff has two slit loops for a ribbon. The chest is hemmed with openwork (divided prutyk). The shirt is embroidered with red and black woolen thread in a floral pattern using the cross-stitch technique. On the shoulder, a narrow horizontal stripe of a pattern with不受: The rose pattern is framed on both sides by thin outlines of straight lines and leaflets. Further down the sleeve, a scattering of small roses with leaflets and buds. The cuffs are decorated with a horizontal stripe of a geometric pattern composed of half-diamonds with extensions. The edges of the cuffs are adorned with scalloped teeth. The hem is decorated with openwork with overlay and prutyk through a grid. The openwork is 5 cm wide, with a floral pattern made with white hemp threads. The connecting seams in the lower part of the bodice are decorated with a 'worm' stitch in red woolen thread.
