Description
Rushnyk made from homespun bleached canvas, embroidered with red and black threads. The ornament is floral, geometric, and anthropomorphic. It is decorated at the ends of the rushnyk. In the center, there is a floral crown, flanked by a pair of men on both sides. At the bottom, there is a zigzag floral branch. The ends are hemmed with openwork. Lace is sewn to the bottom. Provenance: Used in the family of R.V. Zakutnyi, a resident of the village of Dmytrivka, Bohodukhiv District.
