Description
Rushnyk made from homespun canvas, embroidered with red and black threads. The ornament is floral, geometric, ornithomorphic, and includes textual embroidery. The ornament is arranged in tiers: 1) a crown with the inscription 'Vasyllisa' and two roosters beside it; 2) individual trees and the inscription 'ЯБ. ЛУКИ'; 3) a background pattern with a wavy rose branch; 4) water lilies with the inscription 'ПН'; 5) openwork with a geometric rhomb-in-rhomb ornament; 6) grapevines; 7) a background pattern with eight-petal flowers; 8) a poppy branch; 9) at the bottom, the inscription 'шила, вишивала у Бога счастья и долі прохала'; 10) openwork.
