Description
Rushnyk decorated with red, pink, and green embroidery. The central composition on both ends is a tree growing from a vase. Above the tree, there is a scattered pattern of floral branches. Below the tree, there is a wide wavy floral branch. Along the perimeter, the rushnyk is bordered with a wavy branch with flowers and leaves. The rushnyk is bordered on all sides with a zigzag line, and at the bottom, with a double zigzag line forming rhombs. The edges are finished with an overcast stitch. Provenance: Belonged to Stepanyda Yukhymivna Nesterenko, a resident of the village of Cherneshchyna.
