Description
Rushnyk decorated with red and black embroidery. The central composition on both ends is a tree growing from its roots. At the top, on both sides of the central flower, sits a pair of birds facing each other. Above the tree, there is a scattered pattern of floral branches. Below the tree and along the perimeter, the rushnyk is bordered with a wavy branch with flowers of various sizes and leaves, as well as a wavy line. Provenance: Belonged to Iryna Fedorivna Neshcheretna, a resident of the village of Kolontaivo.
