Description
Rushnyk made from homespun canvas, embroidered in black, brown, and blue threads. The edges are decorated with an ornament in the form of a pot with a bouquet of roses and leaves. Closer to the edge is a wavy branch with flowers, buds, leaves, and tendrils. Above it is a textual embroidery: 'rushnyk' on one end and 'I embroidered' on the other. The rushnyk is finished with 'pillar' openwork and hemmed with a machine stitch.
**Provenance:** Embroidered by Hanna Andriivna Matveychuk, who resided in Kharkiv.
