Shirt 'to the hem.' The bodice is made of two parts (from fine canvas), the hem from three (from coarser canvas). The sleeve is one-piece, straight, sewn along the warp, with a gusset, gathered at the wrist with a thread, on a cuff. The bodice and upper part of the sleeves are densely gathered near the neckline using the 'sewing to the collar' technique. The neckline is oval, with a central slit, finished with a cuff. At the ends of the cuff, there are two slit loops for a ribbon. The sleeves and neckline are embroidered with red and black woolen threads in floral and geometric patterns using the cross-stitch technique. The neckline features a thin 'chain' of cross-stitches; on the shoulder, a narrow horizontal stripe of a pattern (3 cm) composed of diamonds with extensions and leaflets, connected by a wavy line. This pattern is framed above and below by two rows of cross-stitches. Further down the sleeve, there is a scattering of small ornamental elements from the shoulder pattern (a small branch with three leaflets). The cuff is decorated with a zigzag pattern intersected by a straight line. This pattern is made using two techniques: backstitch and surface stitching with red and black threads. The edges of the cuff are adorned with scalloped teeth in red and white. The hem is decorated with two rows of openwork stitching. The lower row is 'prutyk' openwork, the upper is openwork with overlay (4.5 cm wide), ornamented with a garland of eight-petaled flowers with leaflets. Both openwork patterns are made with white hemp threads. The connecting seams of the hem (at a height of 7 cm) are decorated with a stylized floral pattern (a straight branch with leaflets), embroidered using the cross-stitch technique.
