Description
Rushnyk made from white fabric, consisting of two fragments joined at the top by a crossbar with a casing for a rope, which gathers the rushnyk. The crossbar is decorated with a floral ornament of five identical elements—a tree in a pot with two birds on branches. The vertical parts of the rushnyk are decorated with a floral ornament in the form of a pot with multi-petal flowers. The rushnyk is adorned with factory white openwork and lace with a wavy edge. Between them is a band of floral ornament. The ornaments are embroidered with threads in various shades of pink, yellow, red, blue, light blue, gray, and lilac. All fabric edges are hemmed with a machine-stitched hem.
**Annotation:** The rushnyk is a 'bozhnyk,' used to decorate the red corner of a home, hung on either side of an icon.
