Description
Sleeve of a women's shirt with a shoulder insert and gusset. The shoulder insert is gathered into folds using the 'sewing to the collar' technique and decorated with a narrow edging. The insert is sewn to the sleeve with a double 'vystih' stitch. The sleeve is decorated in the middle with 'pukhlyky' (puffs) and gathered at the bottom into fine folds, ending with a narrow edging sewn with a single 'vystih' stitch. The sleeve is embroidered with a floral ornament using red and black threads: a garland of roses alternating with two buds on the shoulder insert; scattered rows of rose branches with leaves and small buds on the sleeve.
