Description
Rushnyk made of homespun bleached canvas, embroidered with red and blue threads. The ornament is stylized floral-geometric and geometric. The ends are decorated with three small branches ('tree' motif) with 'tubers' as roots and three flowers on each branch. The composition is framed on the sides and bottom by a zigzag line with 'tubers' at the peaks and a smaller regular zigzag line. The composition is supplemented by scattered small figures of diamonds (in groups of three) and squares (in groups of five). The edges are hand-hemmed with a hem stitch.
