Description
Rushnyk sewn from two parts of homespun bleached linen canvas, embroidered with red and blue threads. The ornament is stylized floral-geometric and geometric. The ends are decorated with a large branch ('tree' motif) with a thin stem and curls. Above the tree is a horizontal zigzag band. Around the perimeter is a wavy branch with leaves and, in places, berries and a zigzag line. Scattered across the field are five-petal flowers and figures composed of diamonds and rectangles. The edges are hemmed with 'obmetytsia' and were decorated with a calico frill.
