Description
Rushnyk made of homespun bleached canvas, embroidered with red zari thread. The ornament is stylized floral. The ends are decorated with a 'tree' pattern with roots in the form of a flower. A narrow straight stem extends from the roots, topped with a large multi-petal flower; branches with various flowers, buds, and leaves extend from the stem on both sides. Above the 'tree,' three separate branches of different shapes are arranged in two rows, with a trefoil at the center above. The rushnyk is framed along the longer edges by a wavy floral branch with leaves and tendrils between two narrow bands ('gaba'), and along the shorter edges by a lush wavy branch with three large multi-petal flowers, buds, leaves, and tendrils, framed above and below by a 'chain' ('base').
