Description
Rushnyk made of homespun bleached hemp canvas, sewn from two panels, embroidered in the 'tambour' technique with red threads. The stylized floral ornament features a central 'tree' in the form of a long branch with flowers growing from a vase, and bouquets of two and three flowers. Below this central part is a wide horizontal 'base' band with larger and smaller flowers on a branch. Along the vertical edges, an ornamental band features a long branch with small flowers. The edges are decorated with the 'obmetytsia' ('gorodky') finishing seam.
