Description
Rushnyk made of white cotton fabric, decorated along the edges with stylized floral-geometric ornament embroidered with red and blue threads: a wide band of large octagons, each containing eight-pointed 'stars,' with small triangles in the recesses; above the band, a zigzag line with small diamonds and cross-shaped figures alternating below it; below the band, a zigzag line with eight-pointed 'stars' inside and diamonds with small rectangles and tassels outside. At one end, above the ornament, an illegible monogram is embroidered. The edges are hemmed with 'single prutik' openwork and decorated with serrated lace with a diamond-shaped ornament.
