Description
White rushnyk embroidered with white hemp thread and red and black zari thread in a floral-geometric ornament. The embroidery composition is located at the ends and consists of seven ornamental bands: 1. 'broken branch' motif in red threads; 2. geometric openwork band; 3. rose branch in red and black threads; 4. wide geometric ornament band made with openwork; followed by a mirror-repeated rose branch, geometric ornament, and 'broken branch.' At one end, above the composition, a red-thread monogram 'A.D.' is embroidered. Homespun lace is sewn to the ends, made in the 'chain' and 'column' techniques, with diamond and grid elements.
**Other marks:** The monogram 'A.D.' likely belongs to the embroiderer, Hanna Kindrativna Dyukova.
**Legend:** Discovered by an expedition of the Kharkiv Historical Museum.
