Description
Women's shirt "long", sleeves—from thin, body—from coarse canvas. Straight silhouette, body sewn from three panels. Long sleeve, with cuffs sewn along the weft, with gusset, gathered at the bottom into fine pleats, on a narrow hem. The body and cuffs are gathered near the neckline and shaped using the "sewing to the collar" technique. The neckline is quadrangular ("square"), with a slit in the center front, hemmed with a narrow strip. At its ends, two slit loops for a ribbon. The neckline hem is decorated with "backstitch" and "staple stitch". The cuffs, sleeves, and hem are decorated with embroidery in purple, blue, and green threads using "stem stitch", "cutwork", "staple stitch", "chicken scratch", "cross-stitch" techniques. On the cuffs and sleeves, one wide horizontal stripe of pattern each: large rhombuses inscribed with smaller ones with geometric flowers at the corners. The hem is decorated with a garland of eight-petaled flowers, leaves, and branches; the background is filled with blue threads, the white canvas threads create the pattern.
