Description
Women's shirt "body". Straight silhouette, body sewn from two panels, the front panel extended. Long sleeve, wide, with gusset and cuff, sewn along the weft, gathered at the bottom into dense fine pleats, on the cuff, with a frill. The cuffs and sleeves are attached to the body from the back with hemstitch, the cuffs are attached to the sleeve with hemstitch and decorated at the top with "puffs". The cuffs and body are densely gathered near the neckline, the neckline is round, with a turn-down collar, with two slit loops for a ribbon. The cuffs and sleeves are decorated with plant ornament in red and black threads using the "cross-stitch" technique. On the cuff, a horizontal stripe with leaves and small flowers. On the sleeve—scattered bouquets of flowers. On the cuffs—small plant-geometric ornament. The frills are decorated with sequins.
Legend: The shirt belonged to Roslyakova Motrona Dmytrivna, born in 1887, she sewed it.
