Description
Shirt of straight silhouette, "to the hem". The body of the shirt is sewn from six panels (body—from thinner, hem—from coarser canvas). The sleeve is straight, one-piece, with a gusset, gathered at the bottom and finished with a hem. The upper part of the sleeve and the body are densely ruffled near the neckline using the "sewing to the collar" technique. The neckline is round with a slit in the center front 35 cm long, finished with a narrow piping with two slit loops at the edges. The shirt is decorated with stylized plant (shoulder, hem), plant-geometric (sleeve) ornaments, embroidered "white on white" and geometric ornament, embroidered in red wool (hem). The sleeve on the shoulder is decorated with a horizontally placed branch with flowers ("stem stitch"). The sleeve field is filled with embroidery on the motif of "branches": vertical trunk and diagonal branches with leaves ("stem stitch", "chicken scratch"). The hem is hemmed with a "single column" and decorated with a wide stripe of hemstitch 5.5 cm wide with overlaid diagonal flowers with branches and leaves. The joining seams of the shirt body are decorated at the hem with a vertical zigzag line, executed in red wool ("worm").
